RYMILL PARK CIRCUIT
CRIT CIRCUITLAP 1.82 KMROUND THE PARK, FAST AND FLAT
the line a corner tight: hay bales outside barriers and banners
4 CORNERS
| Corner | At | Radius | Max | Turn |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 64 m | 20 m | 40 km/h | CORNER | |
| 391 m | 23 m | 42 km/h | CORNER | |
| 1016 m | 27 m | 46 km/h | CORNER | |
| 1462 m | 14 m | 33 km/h | CORNER |
A corner is taken at no more than √(6 m/s² × its radius): 28 km/h through a 10 m corner, 39 through 20 m. Everyone brakes into it and sprints out, robots too; on a trainer the speed is capped, never the power.
HOW IT'S RACED
CRIT
So many laps, first over the line wins. Primes on the laps the bell rings for.
- 3 to 60 laps, 10 unless you choose. First over the line wins.
- Three primes on laps drawn from lap 2: the bell rings the lap before (PRIME NEXT LAP), and the first over the line wins it. Primes are glory: they're listed in the result, never points.
POINTS CRIT
A sprint every five laps for 5, 3, 2 and 1, the last one double. Lap the field for 20.
- A sprint every 5 laps for 5, 3, 2 and 1 points, the last one double.
- Gain a lap on the bunch for +20; lose one and it's −20.
- 5 to 60 laps, in 5s; 20 unless you choose.
ELIMINATION CRIT
Every lap the last rider over the line is out, until two sprint for it.
- Every lap the last rider over the line is out, until two sprint for it.
- So the laps follow the field: one fewer than the riders on the line.
EVERY FORMAT
- A standing mass start on the line, under the start lights, with no neutral lap.
- Lapped riders are pulled: lose a lap to the main bunch and you're out at once, behind everyone still racing.
- If your trainer or connection drops, you get one free lap: back in at the rear of the bunch. Never in the last 3 laps.
- 2 to 12 on the line: you and the robots in the game, or people in a group ride, robots filling the field.
LEADERBOARD
The best lap: one lap of the circuit from a standing start on the line (FREE LAPS in the game, or no race chosen). A race's laps never go on the board.
