COMMUNITY RULES

Pedal Mania is for riding together. These rules are short; the terms say the same at more length.

BE KIND

Ride with others as you would on a good group ride: encourage, wait at the top, and don't belittle anyone.
Other riders see what you write: your name, username and bio, the names and descriptions of your clubs, leagues, Track Cups and group rides, and what you say in a group ride's chat.

Abuse: insults, threats, bullying, or getting others to pile on.
Hate: attacking anyone for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, illness or age.
Harassment: following someone around to bother them, or carrying on after they've asked you to stop.
Spam: advertising, the same thing again and again, and misleading links.
Sexual content, and anything that sexualises a child.
Pretending to be someone else, or sharing someone's private details.

We filter words we don't allow. In chat they're starred out; a name, username or bio with one in it is refused.
Break these rules and we remove what you wrote, hide your clubs, leagues or Track Cups, and suspend or close your account. Serious abuse loses the account the first time.

In the game, tap a rider in a group ride's lobby, then MUTE or REPORT. Muting hides their chat from you straight away, and they aren't told. Unmute them in SETTINGS, then ACCOUNT, then MUTED RIDERS.
On the website, use "Report" at the bottom of a rider's page, a club, a league or a Track Cup.

We act on every report within 24 hours. We never tell anyone who reported them.
