AGENTS

Connect an AI app, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code, to your Pedal Mania account and talk about your riding in plain words. It reads your rides, power and heart rate, so it can tell you where your week went and how your form is coming along. If you let it, it'll also set up and run your leagues, Track Cups and clubs for you: less tapping, more riding.

THE ADDRESS

Add it to your app as a remote MCP server (some apps call it a custom connector). The app opens a Pedal Mania page: sign in with your email code, as here, then choose what it may do.

CONNECTED

Sign in to see the agents connected to your account.

DISCONNECT cuts an agent off at once: its next request is refused, and the app has to connect again.

WHAT IT MAY DO

READ: your profile (weight, FTP, heart rates, units, country), your rides with their power, heart rate and cadence, your records, rating, plan and Lab results, and the routes, boards, leagues, Track Cups and clubs you can see.

MANAGE, only if you tick it: make, change, join, leave and delete leagues, Track Cups and clubs for you. Leave it off for an agent that only reads.

An agent acts as you: what you can't see or change on pedalmania.cc, it can't either. Each change it makes is recorded with your account.

IT NEVER

  • sees your email address or your birthday;
  • deletes your account, buys anything, or agrees to the community rules for you;
  • sees anyone's private rides, or anyone else's heart rate or Lab results.

What the app does with what it reads is up to that app: its own terms and privacy policy apply.

APP BY APP

CLAUDE (CLAUDE.AI AND THE DESKTOP APP)

Go to Customize, then Connectors. Choose + Add, then Add custom connector. Name it Pedal Mania, paste the address and choose Continue, keep the recommended sign-in (Claude's published identity), and Add. Then Connect, and sign in with your Pedal Mania email. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds it under Organization settings, Connectors, first; the free plan has room for one custom connector.

CLAUDE CODE

Then type /mcp in Claude Code, pick pedalmania and sign in in the browser it opens.

CHATGPT

In ChatGPT's settings, turn on developer mode (under Apps and connectors, in the advanced settings), then add a connector with the address above and OAuth sign-in. Developer mode may need a paid plan; ChatGPT's help pages have its current steps.

CURSOR

Add it to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project), then sign in when Cursor asks:

VS CODE

Run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, choose HTTP, paste the address and name it pedalmania. VS Code opens the sign-in page the first time it connects. Or in a workspace's .vscode/mcp.json:

OTHER APPS

Any app that connects to remote MCP servers over HTTP with OAuth sign-in can connect: it finds the sign-in page by itself from the address.

  • "Compare my last two rides on the same route: where did I gain time?"
  • "How has my power curve changed since the summer?"
